Greetings All,
Mantorville's current Mayor Diane Carlsen has decided to step down as of last night November 27th. The city council decided that I should step into the Mayor's position a bit early. December 11th I'll be sworn in.
This blog is one new method that I'll be employing to communicate in this internet age directly with anyone and everyone. Thankfully the majority of people in the US are connected to the internet or have access (via libraries or other public facilities) to take advantage of this blog. By advantage this does mean that not only do you the reader get to see what's here but also to be able to respond and interact.
